BT Health and Diagnostic Centre (BTHDC) is an ultra-modern Diagnostic Center facility which provides Radiology and laboratory services at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja Lagos. BTHDC is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) between PPC Limited and Lagos State Government. PPC Limited is affiliated to Philips Medical System (PMS), a global leader in providing clinical management and diagnostic technology, and have been successful in transferring latest technology to the healthcare industry in Nigeria.

Job Position: Procurement Manager
Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Procurement Planning and Strategy:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the diagnostic centre’s operational needs.
- Prepare and manage the procurement budget in collaboration with finance and department heads.
- Forecast supply needs based on operational demands and patient volume.
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for medical equipment, laboratory reagents, consumables, and general supplies.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.
Purchasing and Contract Management:
- Source and procure diagnostic equipment, reagents, pharmaceuticals, consumables, and office supplies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and value for money.
- Ensure procurement processes follow organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Inventory Coordination:
- Work closely with the inventory/store unit to ensure optimal stock levels of medical supplies and reagents.
- Monitor stock usage trends to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Support inventory audits and stock reconciliation processes.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure all procured medical supplies and equipment meet regulatory standards and quality specifications.
- Verify that suppliers comply with relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure documentation and procurement records are properly maintained.
Cost Control and Reporting:
- Track procurement expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management review.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in procurement activities.
Collaboration with Clinical and Administrative Units:
- Liaise with laboratory, radiology, nursing, and administrative teams to understand supply needs.
- Ensure timely procurement of specialized diagnostic reagents and equipment required for clinical operations.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 3-6 years of experience.
